Work Location: Hybrid – 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days remote

Position Summary

The Innovation Cluster is seeking a results-driven and creative Marketing Manager to execute marketing and communications strategies, support program promotion, and contribute to business development goals that support our mission. This individual will play a key role in delivering dynamic content and marketing initiatives across digital and traditional platforms while supporting outreach to target prospects, clients, partners, and the broader community.

The ideal candidate brings marketing experience from a business accelerator, innovation centre, or nonprofit and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a hands-on, “get it done” mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute marketing and communications plans in alignment with organizational goals, including digital campaigns, email marketing, and traditional media.
• Create compelling content for a variety of platforms (website, social media, newsletters, reports, ads, and media releases).
• Manage ICPK’s online presence, including the website, social media channels, and mailing lists, to ensure consistent and engaging communication.
• Support event and program promotion, working closely with internal teams and external partners to attract participants and audiences.
• Coordinate the production of marketing materials to ensure quality, brand consistency, and timely delivery.
• Assist with client-facing marketing services, ensuring deliverables meet expectations and timelines.
• Contribute to stakeholder and community engagement, including CRM (Hubspot) management, outreach campaigns, and partner communications.
• Monitor and report on marketing performance, identifying insights and areas for improvement using digital analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing roles (experience in nonprofit or tech/startup environments is a plus).
• Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite), social platforms, SEO, project management software (Asana), and CRM tools (HubSpot).
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience with media relations, digital advertising, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) preferred.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
